Appraisal Courses
The candidate for Certified Residential appraiser must take the following courses. No deviations are allowed in Georgia.
1. Residential Statistics, Modeling, and Finance (15 hours)
2. Advanced Residential Case Studies (15 hours)
3. Approved Certified Residential Elective (20 hours)
Note that the Certified Residential Candidate need only be licensed. If an appraiser was licensed before 2008, there is no need to play catchup by taking licensing courses. Those who became licensed before 2008 do not have to make up any courses required to become licensed.
