College Equivalence

Those desiring to be Certified Residential who do not have college degrees, college equivalence is required.  The AQB requires seven 3-semester-hour courses.  There is no deviation from these courses. See PDF 38 of the AQB Appraiser Qualifcations Criteria.

 

Quote -- Required Courses for Certified Residential

1.   English Composition;

2.   Principles of Economics (Micro or Macro);

3.   Finance;

4.   Algebra, Geometry, or higher mathematics;

5.   Statistics;

6.   Introduction to Computers–Word processing / spreadsheets; and

7.   Business or Real Estate Law.
